When do you go live?
Unless otherwise stated, I go live Mon., Tue., & Thu. around 8:30PM Eastern, life permitting, for at least 1 hour. I also have unannounced pop-up lives (make sure you're following me with notifications turned on).
Who's allowed to come into your lives?
I do my best to create an inviting atmosphere for all to join. In my room, we are kind and respectful, we don't judge, and we don't discriminate, however, you must be a legal adult to participate.
May I ask a free question?
Yes, you may ask free yes or no questions in the chat only.
May I ask more than one free question?
Yes, so long as you ask your questions one at a time (i.e. one per comment) and understand that additional questions aren't guaranteed to be answered.
May I DM or private message you my question?
No. If you wish to ask your question privately or feel you're being filtered, you may send a Live List Tip (while spots are available) or submit one of the Tea Drinkers Collective forms.
May I ask questions other than yes or no in the live chat?
No. If you wish to ask a timeframe question or for an energy check, you must submit your question via the Live List Tip (while spots are available) or the Hard Tea Drinkers form. If your question can't be answered with a yes or no, timeframe, or with an energy connection/scale then you must book an off-live service.
May I ask pregnancy, fertility, health, or legal questions in the live chat?
No. If you wish to ask such questions, they must be asked privately which means sending a Live List Tip while spots are available or one of the Tea Drinkers forms.
Do you offer free readings outside of the live chat?
No. I have other obligations and my well-being to consider, so it's not feasible for me to pop in and out of everyone's energy who asks for a free reading via private message or email.
How are questions chosen in the chat?
Questions are chosen randomly as they catch my attention. If your question isn't being answered, it's not deliberate--it's simply because I'm not seeing it, I'm in the middle of answering someone else's question, or you aren't following the live rules.
Why was I muted and/or blocked?
There are various reasons why you may have been muted/blocked during a live, but in general, you may have been ignoring my or a mod's instructions, spamming your question repeatedly, trolling, demanding an answer, being disruptive, or otherwise violating the live rules/guidelines.
Will you randomly reach out to me with a message?
No. If anyone comes to you claiming to be me with a message from the great beyond or an ancestor, please block them because they're a scammer.

Live Lists:
What is the live list?
The live list is comprised of people whose questions are ensured to be answered during the current live.
How do I get on the live list?
You can get on the list one of two ways: 1) by sending a Live List Tip while spots are available; or 2) by being a website member and submitting the respective form.
How much are questions?
If I'm live and the Live List Tips are open, you're welcome to send as much as you'd like for your questions, however, there's a minimum of $1 per yes/no question, $2 per timeframe question (i.e. "when" or "how long"), and $5 per energy connection/scale. This applies only to the live list tips while it's open.
When I'm not live or if the list is full/closed, services are regular price which are listed on the specific product pages.
Which payment methods are available?
My secure payment processor (Stripe) accepts all major credit/debit cards along with PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Apple Pay, GPay, Klarna, and Afterpay.
May I send you PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, or Apple Pay directly?
No. All payments must go through the website payment processing system, which is how I keep everything organized. If you send a tip by any means other than the Live List Tip page, it will be considered complimentary and you won't be added to the live list nor will you receive any services and if you included any questions they will go unanswered.
There's limited stock on the Live List Tips, may I send the difference via the Tip Jar?
No. If there's limited stock or no stock on the Live List Tip page, don't use the Tip Jar as a workaround. The Tip Jar is solely for sending gratitude and you won't receive any services for it.
I'm very specific with the quantity I set for the list because it's how I manage my time and energy. Trying to circumvent that with the Tip Jar is essentially demanding that I expend more time and energy during the live than I'd planned.
If you absolutely must have your energy check or questions answered, then you'll need to wait until the Live List Tips reopens on the next live, become a website member so you can ensure a spot on the list each live, or book off-live services (which will be answered via email).
What if all the lists are closed and I still have questions?
If it's a yes/no question, then you can submit your question in the chat although it doesn't guarantee you'll receive an answer.
You can subscribe to be notified when the Live List Tips reopen during the next live (you'll receive an email when spots open up).
Finally, if you'd rather not wait until the next live or if your question can't be answered with yes/no, timeframe, or an energy connection, you can book off-live services based on your needs.
If I book off-live services, will I be added to the live list?
No. If the list you want to join is closed and you decide to book off-live services, you won't be added to the live list.
How do I know where I am on the list?
If you want to verify that you've made it onto the list or know your position, you can check the list.
I sent a tip, why isn't my name on the list?
First, ensure that you sent a Live List Tip and not to the Tip Jar nor directly to PayPal, Venmo, or Cash App, and that it was sent before 9:30PM Eastern. All lists close at 9:30PM Eastern unless otherwise stated.
If you did send a Live List Tip before 9:30PM Eastern, but your name still isn't appearing on the list page, post your name and order number on Discord and I or one of the mods will assist you.
If you sent a tip by any means other than the Live List Tip page, it will be considered complimentary and you won't be added to the live list nor will you receive any services and if you included any questions they will go unanswered.
May I change my question after I've submitted for the live list?
No. Please be certain of the question(s) you wish to ask before submitting to the Live List Tip or Tea Drinkers form.
Will you elaborate on my answer(s)?
If extra information comes through with your answer, I will share it, however, please don't expect it nor ask for it because there may be other people patiently waiting to have their questions answered.
If you want more information and nothing extra came through with your answer, you can book an off-live service.
What if I miss my name/answers?
Unfortunately, I won't circle back to repeat them for you, however, if you're a member of the Tea Drinkers Collective, The Coven Collective, or you opted to create an account when you sent in a tip, you can log in and view the Live Reading Replays which are posted within five (5) days after the live (excluding Sundays and holidays).
Why are only those who have a membership or sent a tip allowed access to live replays?
It takes time and energy to edit/post the live replays, not to mention the cost of hosting and streaming. Limiting the access to those who've sent at least $1 helps to offset the energetic and material cost.
I sent a tip, why don't I have an account?
When you sent your tip, you most likely did not place a checkmark next to the box labeled 'Create an account with Writerly Witch' (just below the space where you enter your email address) before you checked out.
If you sent a tip of at least $5 or more, you may contact me and I'll manually create an account for you, otherwise you'll need to send another tip and make sure to create an account during the checkout process.
Off-Live Services:
What's considered off-live services?
Any and all services other than the Live List Tips are considered off-live services. If your order receipt doesn't include a product named 'Live List Tip', then it's an off-live service and you won't be added to the live list.
If I book off-live services, how will I get my answer(s)?
Depending on the service you booked, you'll receive your answer(s) sent to the email you provided at checkout.
If I book off-live services, when will I get my answer(s)?
I strive for a 24 hour turnaround on most orders, however, unless you specifically add expedited service it may take up to 5 days (excluding Sundays and holidays) to receive your order.
Please note that scheduled services will take place at their scheduled times unless otherwise changed or canceled.
What should I do if I haven't received my answer(s)?
If you booked anything through the site, you should receive a confirmation email with order number. If you didn't receive that email, please verify the email account you used for placing the order (this is especially important if you have more than one email address), that your email is valid and can receive incoming messages, and check your spam, junk, or trash folders.
If I spend the time and energy answering your question(s) and emailing it to the address provided, I'm not responsible if your email service rejects it and your order will be considered completed.
If it's been at least 5 days (not including Sundays and holidays) and you've not received your answers and you've checked your spam, junk, and trash folders, then send me a message with your order information. Please note that you'll need to provide a valid working email for return contact and double-check to make sure it's correct and you've added the writerlywitch.com domain to your whitelist.
What are your working hours?
Although I have social media live events and other gatherings in the evenings, unless otherwise stated, my business hours are Mon.-Fri. 9am-5pm Eastern, excluding US holidays.
How do you prioritize your services?
My 1:1 consultations calls will take priority because they occur at scheduled dates and times, then, I prioritize any products which need to be prepared and mailed out, followed by candle workings, and then written and video readings in the order received.
The only exception to the above is if expedited service is added to any reading purchased, then it will be prioritized immediately after any scheduled 1:1 consultation calls.
What if I'm late to my scheduled 1:1 consultation?
If you're late to your scheduled appointment, it will count towards your time. Example: If you schedule for 10:00AM-10:20AM, but don’t arrive in the room until 10:05AM your session will still end at 10:20AM; this is out of respect for other clients to prevent them from being impacted by delays.
What if I miss my scheduled 1:1 consultation?
I understand that life happens and allow for one free grace rescheduling if you provide notice prior to your scheduled appointment, however, if you miss your scheduled appointment without notice you will not receive a refund and you will need to book/pay for a new appointment.
What if you're late or cancel my scheduled 1:1 consultation?
I do my best to avoid impacting you by my delays or circumstances, however, should that happen, any delays will not count toward your time and you will have the option of extending your consultation by the duration that I'm late or rescheduling at no cost. If I must cancel your scheduled consultation, you may choose to reschedule or be issued a refund.
What should I do if I place an order in error or make a mistake?
If you make a mistake with your order you have one hour (60 minutes) from booking the service to contact me and explain the issue; I'll do my best to work with you to sort it out. After an hour, your order will be queued for completion as you sent it.
How may I request a refund?
Because the products/services sold throughout the site are either custom made, digital, or crafted in small batches, all sales are final; no refunds will be issued and returns are not accepted.
Please make sure to read the information and instructions provided with each product and on the checkout page before placing your order. I am not responsible for anyone’s decision not to read nor follow instructions. If you’re unsure about something, read through the Frequently Asked Questions or contact me before placing your order.
If I'm unable to process an order due to failure to follow any instructions means the order is considered completed and any payment submitted is a complimentary tip for time and energy expended.

What does becoming a website member mean?
For a monthly fee, you'll have access to various services throughout the site based on your membership level.
The Tea Drinkers Collective members are able to submit questions which may be asked privately or out loud during social media lives.
The Coven Collective members may submit questions to be asked privately or out loud during social media lives and also get access to off-live services and a weekly reading.
If you've sent a Tip and created an account while doing so, you'll have access to the social media live replays.

How do I sign up for a membership?
There are various ways, however, the simplest is to visit the Membership Levels page, reading through the available options, and signing up for the one that best fits your needs.
What should I do if it won't allow me to sign up?
The sign up process should be a simple one: provide the requested information and your payment method. However, if in the event you're unable to complete the sign-up process, please take note of the exact error message you're receiving (screenshot is also helpful) and contact me so we can figure out the issue.
How can I sign up for the Inner Circle?
The Inner Circle takes the next step in regards to spiritual development and has a hands-on element beyond simple readings. Essentially, it's part coaching, part spirit work, and part accountability group. Because of this, a spiritual assessment is required prior to joining to ensure you'd be in alignment with it.
The assessment itself is relatively short and consists of two parts: 1) a 10 minute chat via Zoom; and 2) I conference with my spiritual collective afterward before letting you know the decision. There is a non-refundable assessment fee of $40.40, however, if you are allowed to join the Inner Circle it will be applied to your first month.
If you believe you're ready, message me letting me know you'd like to join the Inner Circle, and I'll send you the payment link to schedule your assessment.
How do I access my member benefits?
To access any member benefits, you must be logged into your account first.

Energy Working:
What do you mean by "in the current energy"?
All answers provided are based on the current flow of energy (i.e. the direction in which it's moving), but as I always like to remind folks: free will is a thing that exists. Most answers, although not all, can be changed simply by changing your energy or the energy around a question/situation. How can we change energy?
There are a variety of ways to change or shift energy from something as simple as changing your thoughts and feelings surrounding a situation to actively doing something regarding a situation.
Can you use a candle to shift the energy?
Yes, you can. Candles can be used for manifesting and candles can be used for magick. If you aren't sure about the difference between the two, make sure to read Manifesting vs. Magic.
Can anyone use candles to shift energy?
Yes. If anyone tells you that you can't use a candle to manifest or perform a magical ritual, then question their motives because they likely want to part you from your money. That said, some people prefer to have others do it because of time, energy, or confidence constraints.
Can you do candle work on my behalf?
It depends on what your intentions are, however, I do offer candle services where I'll prep, bless, and light a candle on your behalf.
Will you do candle work on someone else if I book your candle services?
In most cases, no. I do not perform candle services, not even prayer candles, for people without their consent or a candle consultation to ensure it would be in alignment with my ethical standards. The only exceptions are for parents of minor children (and even then I would do a mini consultation prior to working) and for the Romance intention candles, which require a pre-existing relationship.
How do I book a candle service?
If you want me to burn a candle on your behalf, you can book your desired candle service in the shop. You can choose between Tiny But Mighty (tealight), Small (oversized tealight), 3 Day, 7 Day, and Custom intention candles. All but the custom intention candles have the following base intentions from which to choose:
- Alignment: cleanse and heal your energy in order to bring you back into alignment with your highest good.
- Blockbuster: remove all obstacles and negative energy between you and your desired intention.
- Blowback: gather up all the negative energy sent your way and then send it right back so the sender can reap what they’ve sown.
- Clarity: designed to bring clarity of purpose or to a specific situation.
- Financially Flush: this will help you put some extra money in your wallet or bring some success to your business.
- Lucky in Love: opens your energy to receiving love and draws a fresh new romance into your life.
- Protection: guard your energy from anything that may seek to do it harm or bring you out of alignment with your highest good.
- Romance: if you’re already in a relationship and feel it could use some more desire, passion, communication, or romance.
- Self-Love: allow your inner light to shine so you’re able to fully open up to and love yourself regardless of the external world.
- Spiritual Cleanse: cleanse your energy of any negativity that may have been sent your way and returning it to source (rather than sender).
- Trailblazer: open up all your doors, windows, and roads in order to allow blessings of money, love, success, and happiness.
The only intention that involves a specific person's energy other than your own is the 'Romance' intention and it should only be selected if there's a prior existing romantic relationship you wish to have strengthened.
Custom intention candles are designed with your specific intention in mind and may in very limited circumstances involve a specific person's energy other than your own.
When will I receive my candle read?
Unless you purchase a custom candle, your candle service doesn't include a candle read by default. You may add-on the Candle Read and Card Pull service to your candle service and it will be delivered to you within 3 days of your candle finishing its burn.
